Why do people love coffee so much?
Maybe it's me, but I don't see why so many people love this drink. To me, its just some kinda brown creamy liquid which tastes bitter and keeps you awake. So why, oh coffee lovers?

A great cup of coffee shouldn't be bitter--it should be rich and full-bodied (like dark chocolate). Most people (and even coffee shops) don't put enough ground beans in the machine for the number of cups they are making. If you make coffee with too little ground beans, the excess water will pull out all the acid--leaving you with a bitter cup.
If you want to try to figure out why coffee lovers love it so much, try brewing your own. Put 2 Tbsp of ground beans for every 6 oz. water. And make sure that you get good beans. I would recommend Community Coffee between roast blend (if available). Otherwise, an Italian roast is a good option.
Since you aren't a hard-core coffee drinking, add a bit of cream and sugar to start. If you like chocolate, you will probably like a properly made cup of java.

I do like the taste, in my opinion it just became a daily routine for most people.

Coffee has a taste that appeals to the taste of some of us, I guess. I used to fill it chock full of cream and sugar but now I like it plain, I think it's an acquired taste. But the big reason people drink it is because nothing would get done with out it. I am much more productive and chatty with it, if I forget my caffiene nothing gets done, it's a habit. FYI, also there is caffiene withdrawal, people can get headaches if they are used to drinking it daily and stop.

I get my caffeine from iced tea and Mt. Dew.

There's nothing better than the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. It also helps me stay awake and alert and keeps me going. However, I do agree, that the caffeine in coffee does make it addictive. I get headaches if I skip my cup of coffee

Coffee wakes me up in the morning even though i can only have one cup with milk cause i can't drink milk.. but it always wakes me.. and it taste great..
Cause coffee is tasty.. Just like life.. Sometimes it's bitter, sweet, or even sour.. Coffee tastes depend on your mood (for coffe lovers).. Beside, it's addictive
