Starbucks?!

Question:

Starbucks?

Is there any real reason for paying so much money for a cup of Starbucks coffee, beside the idea that it looks good on your dashboard? I am not condemning it , just wondering.

Answers:
Most people hate us because we charge "too much" for coffee, but we have our reasons.

1. Our beans are the best.
We only make sure we use the best beans that are grown at higher altitudes, which makes for better taste/flavor. What you buy at stores is Robusta coffee which is not as good or flavorful as our Arabica coffee.

2. We pay our coffee farmers 74% more money then every other coffee company. Plus, we help support towns where the coffee farmers live by creating schools and hospitals with the money we make.

3. We have the best workers.
I just had to say that since I work there :)

The reason why i prefer starbucks is that most other coffeeshops use french roasted beans--it gives the coffee that strong charcoaly flavor that many people love and that I do not like one bit--it tastes burnt to me. I favor starbucks because the coffees they brew in the store have a milder roast that allows you to fully appreciate the scent of the coffee bean itself, rather than the charcoal effect. for the same reasons, it leaves a better aftertaste. That said, I still find most coffees in big brand shops weak and prefer to do my own... but who has time?
