Question:

Whats the difference between a smoothie maker and a blender ?

Answers:
about £10

A blender makes smoothies as well as doing other things like blend soup, crush ice, etc. With a smoothie maker that's it!

Marketing.

And quality. Blenders are usually better abled to go through ice. Smoothie makers are built only go through fruits.

Blenders chop more than smoothie makers, they only chop fruit & ice.

probably just that the smoothie maker has that little tap that you can pour the drink out from

SMoothy makers arement only for fruits...wile Blenders can blend up patatoes, carrots, basicly anything you stick in it!

I think a smoothie maker has a spout on the front of the jar so you can dispense it from there instead of pouring it from the jar. I just use a blender or a smoothie jar that can with my blender.

a smoothie maker is purely for using liquids whereas a blender comes with attachments so you can mash up potatoes or hard foods as well as liquids

A smoothie maker costs twice the amount of the blender.
