Well,
My husband drinks Gatorade a LOT because he works in construction and is outside in this extremely hot Florida sun for about 11-12 hours a day, so for people like that, or who are really athletic, its actually good for them. If you are sweating a lot and doing a lot of physical activity it replenishes everything your body loses and gives you added minerals and electrolytes. If you are just drinking it to drink it, I suppose it could be bad for you as too much of anything is bad for you. It would be equivalent to drinking soda if you drink it a lot "just because" as it does contain sugar. Hope I helped!

Well yes, because it's a bit like if you go over your limits everyday, you need to rest a bit, and when you sleep it's not enough for a whole days gatorade energy.

not really but I recommend propel or vitamin water or something... because there's way less sugar and calories plus added vitamins

I would suggest deluding it down a little with spring water, or purified water, then there is no harm in drinking Gatorade often.

No, I been drinking it all the time everyday for the past yr n i'm fine! But most people say to only drink it while your working out, b/c it does have alot of carbs and sugars, n if you're not doing anything, you'll gain weight. But its better than drinking soda!

yes too much sugar and carbs . . .take a picture of your teeth before they fall out . . .besides it's not meant for an everyday all day beverage unless you have an excess sweating problem that you need hydration for and even then I'd recommend pedialite.


thought the same about my former fave drink v-water dragon fruite mmmmm but I'd rather save my calories for something better.

Gatorade = water. It won't hurt you. it might dye your insides, give you the runs, and make you bleed interesting colors, but it's not going to hurt you. hehe

You're taking in a ton of sugar, salts, and artificial color (supposedly non-cancerous, but who really knows. Those bright colors are a little scary).

You're probably adding 500-1000 empty calories every day drinking that stuff. You could shed any extra weight you had, about a pound a week, simply by switching to bottled water.

Next time you're out shopping, don't buy any. Just buy lots of water. Try it for two weeks. See how you feel.
