Coffee filter emergency....HELP!!!!!!!?!

Question:

Coffee filter emergency....HELP!!!!!!!?

I am usually not a coffee drinker but I woke up this morning craving a cup or two. I have no coffee filters....is there something I can substitute with? Pllllllllllease help me!!! :)

Answers:
Cheesecloth, paper towels, and if your coffee maker has the basket, that will do as well

A folded paper towel will work, preferably plain to avoid the possiblity of ink in your coffee!

A paper towel or paper napkin will work. Plain is better, but the ink will not run. Many people do not buy filters at all and use paper towels all the time.

Yes get a paper towel wet it and put it in place of the filter, you might have to cut it to fit but it works good.

sometimes my husband will use a paper towel but it usually makes the coffee stronger.

I know this sounds yucky, but it works, Take a NEW stocking, rinse clean first. works very well and can be used again and again.

Aknee high hose works great.

I have re-used the filter already in there. Just rinse it off and since it is wet, make sure it is in place correctly and make your coffee! (Actually, I did this for about 5 whole days once when I was snowed in! I made about 3 pots a day with the same one!)

If u don't have coffee filter. Two things you can use from my suggestion - paper towel and a piece of cotton clothe (manies Asians do that way)
