Prunes, Plumbs and juice?!


Question:

Prunes, Plumbs and juice?

Ok - so are prunes just dried out plumbs? AND if so how is it possible to get Prune juice as by its very nature it contains no juice as it is a DRIED out Plumb. And why is there no Plumb juice?

Prunes can now be labeled as dried plums. (marketing is trying to get away from that old PRUNE name.)
Once a plum is dried it is now a dried plum. (we used to call them prunes) Plum juice =prune juice.
The juice is made from a very technical process involving cooking, pressing and concentrating from the original plumbs.
