Answers:
Your stomach works better if you drink after your meal, be sure it is either a warm or hot drink, helps with the digestion. You will feel full sooner if you eat without drinking liquids.

before

It's good to drink before a meal, and often throughout the day when you are not eating. Drinking too much with a meal or directly after can adversely dilute stomach acids. However, beign chronically dehydrated is even worse for you and stressed several physiological functions. So, drink your full 8 cups of liquid per day, more so after exercise and during times of stress.

if you want to loose weight then drink water. try drinking a glass of water before every meal and you will eat less...i have lost 6 pounds by doing this and eating better

You are supposed to drink any beverages 45 minutes after your meal. So that the drink does not dilute your digestive juices.

If you're trying to lose weight, it's best to drink a glass of water before the meal. It helps you feel full quicker. As for the meal itself - continue drinking water while you eat.

Good luck with the weight loss.

Water should be the only thing you drink with food. water is a natural source that helps breaks down and flush food thru your system.

If you drink half a glass of water before you eat it will help fill you up and to not over eat

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT THEN DRINK BEFORE YOU EAT. WATER IS BEST. THIS WILL FILL YOU UP SO YOU DON'T EAT AS MUCH AND SEEM FULLER WHEN HAVE A MEAL.

After a meal so that you are not thirsty for a long time

water should be taken at least half hour before meals and 2 and a half hours after meals. Before meals to prepare the stomach lining for food digestion. Without water intake prior to meals, the buffering effect of water against hydrochloric acid is lost and it cld lead to hyperacidity, dyspepsia and ulcers. After meals to facilitate the continuous digestion. Anything that is immersed into water softens and so is food that we eat. This also prevents the acidification of blood as it absorbs more acid that is mixed into the food in the stomach. Acidification of the blood will cause drowsiness after meals. To reduce weight, take in 2-3 8-ounce glasses of water 1 hour before meals. Plus another 2 upon waking up in the morning and at bedtime. Water is a very good agent to break down fats. More water you have in your body, there will less space for fats since fats and water don't mix.
