You have to BE a friend to HAVE friends....go out of your comfort zone to talk to people. Join clubs that interest you...you will be in the company of people who share your interests. Smile, make eye contact, give compliments...sincere ones. Good luck!
if there are certain friends that you want to hang out with then just start making comments to them and hang out but dont be overwhelming to them be sweet ask for help and just be yourself so tata for now !
Okay...This is pretty easy. Find something you are very good at, join clubs, start talking with people. Have fun, smile a lot, make people think you have a good sense of humor, be friendly.

practically, u have to be the one who make friends. i mean, u r the one who have to be friendly, helps people and be kind to just about anyone. this way, people will like you and eventually be your friend.
