What causes the reaction!?

because of the reaction the water has for the tea

because it wants too................. or maybe its bubbling becuase its umm yeah i dont knoww

that is a good question wish I had a answer for it too.
now you have me thinking about that .

I never noticed. I think it is water on water that has that effect.

I think it's Paper from the Tea Bag !!!!!

it happens not only with tea bags but also with loose leaves, which is what i use, reason not known.

Some teas bubble more than others because of the acids.
Kombucha tea fizzes a lot!

love

if you had it in the micro wave to heat it it got too hot,Micro waves cook from the center.this was very hot some times it will even boil over the cup just buy putting in the spoon are some sugar

I never noticed that! I however boil water then put my tea in the hot boiling water and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. How do you make your tea?
