Cup of Coffee or Shot of Espresso, Which is stronger?!

Question:

Cup of Coffee or Shot of Espresso, Which is stronger?

Answers:
espresso

Two ounces of espresso has 100 mgs of caffeine; a cup of drip coffee has anywhere from 120-175. So, surprisingly, coffee.

Espresso

Are you asking about caffeine? There is more caffeine in an 8-oz. cup of drip coffee than in a 2-oz. shot of espresso. Coffee brewed in other ways has less caffeine.

I say espresso. I am not always right and I will admit that even though some people won't but here is some info my mom got some coffe from starbucks and she got two shots of espresso in it and she was WIRED for the night but when that wore off she was dead tired, so i think between the coffe and espresso in the drink she had a VERY high amount of caffine (a.k.a. sugar rush!!!!!!).

the longer the water sits with the coffee grounds, the more caffeine will be in the coffee. Espresso is made by shooting the water through the gounds with high pressure.
Regular drip coffee slowly adds water to the grounds.
Thus, regular coffee has more time to absorb more caffeine.

espresso

An espresso is a quick shot brew of coffee. It contains less caffeine as compared to filtered brewed coffee. In terms of flavor, espresso is more pronounced while brewed coffee tastes more bitter due to the caffeine content in it. As for strength, both has its say, just in different categories.
