After visitng the USA a week ago I got hooked on root beer, but I haven't seen a drop of it in England. So I wanted to know where the heck I could get it, and if I couldn't get it why not?

All I know is that you can order anything online. Go to Barq's or A&W or IBC's website and see if you can order some. Shipping costs will be hell, but if you really want it, it'll be worth it.
I'll trade you case of Root Beer for some English Porter!
I went to the UK to visit friends and they wanted to try root beer. So I bring them a 2 liter bottle and they didn't like it. Said it tasted like medicine. No one in their family liked it.
You can find it in plenty of places in London, although not in any of the big supermarkets.
