Do you know how to make Lemon Iced Tea?!

Question:

Do you know how to make Lemon Iced Tea?

I really like it, and I buy it in stores all the time, but its very expensive, so Im hoping someone has a recipe, because no matter what I try it doesnt taste right.

Answers:
Brew 1/2 gallon of tea by bringing water almost to a boil. Place 2 family sized tea bags in a cup and steep about 10 minutes. Put tea into a clean iced tea pitcher, add 1/2 cup of sugar if you want it sweetened. add cool tap water and stir. Once tea is made, take a real leamon and slice into wedges, squeeze one wedge into glass, fill with ice and tea, I also throw the wedge in the glass.

Try the arizona ice tea. You can get them from CVS

Boil tea bags in water, then refrigerate and add fresh squeezed lemon juice.

I just make my ice tea by brewing it then I add some lemon juice. You can use either concentrate or squeeze a lemon. Good Luck!

I way that I make it is... tea bags in a pot of very hot water, let tea bags stay in it for awhile, take them out after the water is a lite dark color. pure into pitcher, place in refrigerator., slice some lemons and place into pitcher and serve. add lemons to your taste. may also want to add sweetener to your taste as well.

brew your tea, add sugar while still hot, add fresh squeezed lemon juice, add half, let cool, than add rest stir and enjoy

PS: try to buy Lipton tea, or other good teas, you also can use fruit teas,

For 1 gallon

8 regular size tea bags ( I use the cheapest tea bags, no name brand even seems better)
2 cups sugar
Water

Brew the tea in your coffee maker with 8 cups of water (use cup measurement on the coffee maker not actual cups)

Put sugar in a gallon size pitcher.

Pour in the brewed tea while hot and stir to dissolve the sugar.

Finish filling with cold water and stir. Add lemon to taste.

The stuff you buy at the stores doesn't taste like homemade so I don't think you'll ever be able to copy it (I personally don't like premade teas). The tea in the stores that's premade usually has caramel coloring and corn syrup in it. Homemade is just not going to ever taste like what you are wanting. The best tea, however is Luzianne. Make it according to the directions. If you like it sweetened as well, I take one cup of sugar in a saucepan with just enough water to cover it. Heat on med. high, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add that to a half gallon of freshly brewed tea and stir. Take a whole lemon and cut in half. Squeeze half the juice into the tea and use the remaining half to serve in wedges or slices with individual servings. Good Luck!

Yes. Infact, I believe its the same recipie for the rabid bull**** that masquerade as your mundane-as-sunday-afternoon questions.
