Cold beer but warm sodas, Why?!

Question:

Cold beer but warm sodas, Why?

how come you can buy any kind of beer or wines in the cold section of the grocery store but, all the soda pops aren"t. since when did people decide not to sale it in the cold section anymore? NO WONDER, there are so many beer drinkers. which would you choose, cold beer or warm pepsi?

Answers:
There are so many more choices of soda that the storage would be a problem.

good question.. hmmm..

I think it's due to two things:

One, if you buy beer or wine, it's likely going to be consumed (at least in part) very soon after you purchase it. The same can certainly be true of soda, but you can add ice to soda. I'm not a big fan of beer with ice in it (yuck!).

Two, beer is more likely to lose flavor or quality (or to get that "skunky" flavor) if it's allowed to be cold, warm, and then cold again. So, it's shipped in refrigerated trucks, and then stored in coolers at the store. Sodas are usually shipped in non-refrigerated trucks.

EDIT: If you want a cold soda RIGHT NOW, there are always vending machines, and single-bottle (or can) coolers in or near the grocery store.

actually I would choose a warm coke to beer anytime.
I like pepsi but coke is my favorite.

LOL I love your thinking but here is the answer. Beer, wine, wine coolers. and other alcoholic beverages ferment with time and may become nasty. To prevent this they cool the alcoholic beverages down. Plus like you said a warm soda is nasty so why would any by a warm beer?
