Does cold green tea have the same effect as hot green tea?!

Question:

Does cold green tea have the same effect as hot green tea?

Answers:
The longer you leave green tea, the more nutrients it lose. This is the main reason why a freshly brewed hot green tea is better.

This is because tea catechins get oxidised over time, like apples that turns brown over time.

That is the reason why bottled green tea has ascorbic acid, phosphoric acid added to it.

Would keeping it cold retain the nutritional value? I don't know, it probably slows it down to some extent.

The article below shows which is the healthiest green tea to drink.

Yes both are good for you

they have the same chemical components. However, some of the effects use heat as a catalyst...same as brown tea.

it's common knowledge that boiling water destroys many nutrients, so always make it with hot water. Doctors will tell you that you shouldn't drink liquids either too cold or too hot (affects normal digestion); room temp is best. So make your tea with hot water (to extract nutrients) and cool it as you please. The value remains pretty much the same.
