Are you familiar with making sodas? If not find a brew shop in your town or try this website www.homebrewheaven.com look in the soda extracts category, theres one availabel for cola. So far i've only done rootbeer. You won't get an exact replica of coke or pepsi but for an easy homemade soda for a beginniner these work really well. You'll need more than just the extract. Email the store for information on what else you'll need. have fun
ya i know this really good one from food and living magazine. all you have to do is get out sugar and boil it with only a little water(1cup sugar to 1/4 cup water) this will make it kind of a carmely substance. you will then add a little vanilla according to taste. i usually add 1 tsp.. then you will add a little carbonated water and a little gingerale till the substance resembles coke. after letting this cool you will be able to drink. enjoy!!
Here is 3 supposed recipes for coke...but you need coca extract from de-cocanized coca leaves...might have a tough time finding that...you could try a mexican grocery perhaps?

The recipe posted by the person above me sounds interesting...caramel from sugar and water instead of caramel coloring...
