Bottled Water?!
Bottled Water?
How is that some types of water flow through mountains for millions of years before they are bottled but when we get them, they have an use before date?
Answers:
Lawsuits.
Ha,very good
hahah! thats a great question! my guess is that the water should only sit in plastic bottles for a set amount of time so the chemicals in the plastic do not contaminate the water. just a guess.
Just checked the bottles in my fridge and they don't. What brand are you looking at?
Or, are you just repeating something you heard somewhere?
.
your right- the water we are drinking now has been around for millions of years.
my guess is that they want you to drink it fast so you will go out and buy more water.
It's all a lie. That water comes from the tap!
because once it is bottled it slowly starts to decay just like any food or drink product!
i think it is only because every food or drink product has to have an before date on them even if it doent really go off!
i be wondering the same thing they probably put that on there to show you the date it was put into the bottle
hehe. i would guess the plastic degenerates and leaks into the water.
Bottled water is merely recycled water from another lake.
Very good question. I am sure the manufacturers would say that "still" water gets stagnant and that being in the bottle they can't guarantee freshness.
Your question is hilarious. I love it.
There is no sell by date on the bottles we have in front of us just now.
In the United States bottled water's shelf life is date stamped for two years.
Properly stored bottled water has indefinitely shelf live. However, long-term storage of bottled water may result in aesthetic defects, such as off-odor and taste.
Thats because they put some other stuff in the water that will make the water expire.
water that is not moving goes stagnant.also the plastic bottle begins to break down
Good point i have often wondered this myself.
The reason that bottled water has a 'use by' date is because Water contains bacteria and although when bottled the water is treated to remove any harmful bacteria, the water is not sterilised. So bacterial growth is only slowed down rather than completely eliminated, but do not worry this bacteria is natural and harmless, however bottled water should be refrigerated after opening to minimise the introduction of harmful bacteria from the air and our mouths etc...
Marketing regulations ...no product must be shelved and sold after the date shown.
