Just recently quit drinking soda..?!

Just recently quit drinking soda..?

i quit drinking soda and now all i drink is sweetened iced tea.. good or bad choice? health wise.

Without question a great choice. I too gave up soda about a year ago and drink mountains of tea (still need the caffeine) and I've lost weight, feel better and I know I'm not dumping gallons of chemicals and god knows what else into my system - not to mention the various health benefits of tea.

of course water is the best for you, but i think drinking
isnt all that healthy if thats what your asking.

Bad choice - too much sugar, try water.

They say it's suppose to better for you because there's less caffiene. It's really better to drink water or juice but tea is a good step down. Limit the amount of sugar that's it in though or you won't be doing yourself any favors.

The choice is neither good or bad. Both regular soda and sweetend iced tea all have quite a bit of sugar so nothing has changed along that line. On the other hand, if it makes you feel good, then the choice is a good one for your mental health.

Hmm well iced tea is probablly better than soda, but it still has a lot of sugar in it... Try drinking more iced water (maybe put lemon slices in it to flavor it a little) and chewing sugar-free gum. (Sugar-free gum tastes the same as the kind with sugar, only it doesn't have the sugar in it lol) Also, be sure that if you continue with the iced tea, DON'T drink the splenda/aspertame-sweetened kind!!! Regular sugar is a lot lot lot healthier for you than the fake stuff.

Well the acid in the soda won't erode your teeth, now; but, the tea will stain them. Try a green tea with lots of ice and no sweetener-it's a bit strange to get used to at first; but, green tea has lots of antioxidents and no caffeine and doesn't stain your teeth.

Not a bad choice at all. I haven't been drinking soda for about 1 year and half and it hasn't been bad for me. In the beginnning it may be hard but u just have 2 get used to it. U will and u have so many other types of drinks to choose from and are completely healthier than cold drinks. Just make sure ur drinking your water 2 (I love sweetened iced tea)lol

Now, it depends on the sweetened ice tea.

How many calories???

Check all of this out. If its a huge amount find another brand that has less sugar and calories.

The carbonation of the soda is the unhealthy part of the soda.The tea is a good anti-oxidant for your body...Good choice to me.
