Does drinking too much orange juice makes skin turn orange?!

Question:

Does drinking too much orange juice makes skin turn orange?

Answers:
no, that's not true. your skin can take on a hint of orange from beta carotin (in carrots) and if you take a lot of the vitamin B12. My hubby drinks a lot of OJ and so far I haven't noticed him turning orange :)

i have heard that about carrots, but not OJ

No

I'v never heard of such a thing...

yes I have heard of that, it happened to a girl in England.

Carotenemia is skin discoloration caused by overeating foods like carrots, sweet potatoes or oranges.

No, it doesn't.

Never heard of it. I know you've heard that you are what you eat. Maybe that's the case here lol.

No, that's nonsense.

idk i would think that's kinda weird if it did. darn if i does i wouldn't drink orange juice any more.

No, it just makes you urinate often.

I have heard about carrots (and carotene poisoning) but never about orange juice.

Orange juice in large quantities would probably give you a very runny tummy though.

No, but it will definitely give you sour stomach, it has lots of acid. Also, it's pretty high in calories, you should not drink more than 1-2 glasses per day.

No, it does not.

If your diet consists of large quantities of carrots, sweet potatoes, or other foods high in beta-carotene (some others are squash, apples, corn, and even certain green vegetables like spinach and asparagus), then your skin could become orange-colored.

no... u need tha calcium

Definetly not! DOnt worrry. Orange Juice is quite good for you. The only thing that ever happened to me when I drank a lot is got sick. But I had a whooooooole lot. So dont worry you will be fine! OJ has much calcium and many vitamins.

nope.

doubt it

just a litttle bit. it happend to me
