Lactose free milk has been processed 'artificially' breaking down lactose to glucose and galactose which is normally done by the enzyme lactase which people who are lactose intolerance lack. So nutritionally lactose free milk and normal milk are exactly the same. Being lactose intolerant myself, I drink lactose-free milk. Personally I think that lactose-free milk tastes sweeter than normal milk. You might want to try it yourself. Lactose-free milk is like a godsend for people like myself.
Because lactose is converted into lactase, an enzyme that lactose intolerant people do not have, and this lactase turns lactose into a monossacharide that is easily transported through the bloodstream. Lactose free milk has the same nutritional value as regular milk, but remember to always take a calcium supplement. As long as you take a calcium supplement, there is no negative result. Good luck
