I am looking for one that has a smooth roast, not too bitter and overpowering.

Torrefazione has a great bold flavor and is smooth and not over roasted. You can buy it at most grocery stores.Try a bag and you'll see. At our local store it's about $11.99 for a 12 oz. bag.
