Question:

When soda is poured into a glass, why does it make sounds of hissing?

Answers:
It really liked being in the can and it is showing its displeasure with you. If it could talk it would say "hey - put me back!"

acids that are in the soda

It's the carbination in the soda.

That is the sound of the (carbon dioxide) bubbles bursting out of the soda and into the air.

Soda also hisses when inside a can or bottle, you just have to listen.

It's the effervescence of the carbonation.

Sodas form bubbles when the dissolved carbon dioxide is depressurized to form emulsions at the top, and it will make "hissing" sounds when it is opened and poured into a container such as a glass.

the hissing sound is cause the by co2 being release when expose to open atmosphere . the bubbles formed rush to the top of glass causing the noise -louder depending on the quality of the glass and volume poured.

When the carbon and the air mix it creates a hissing sound.

You are hearing carbonation.Acid
