the gift of life WATER

1/4 cp milk
1/4 cp strawberries
1/2 cp bananas
1- 6 oz strawberry yogurt
Mix in blender for 20-30 seconds.
Very healthy and tasty.

Bananas with just about anything: papaya, watermelon, pineapple, mango, peaches, trawberries. If it's too thick, just add a little water. If you want it sweeter, put in some honey. Another really delicious one: pinapple and fresh mint.

my mom made this all the time,
frozen berries, oj, freash bannanas, and a sercret ingrediant, MUAHAHAHAAAH, ok that was random, LOL!

Fresh fruit and Veggies always make the best smoothies!
Mike's Specialty! pineapple, coconut, orange, bananas and if in season blueberries(although ususally best mixed in when frozen) then add celery and carrots for veggies! If you can juice fresh fruit and veggies, do! Add juice to blender over ice, splash of vanilla! Enjoy smoothy time!

Purple Cow Smoothies
- 1/2 cups cold skim or reduced fat milk
3 Tbs f grape soda
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla ice cream
5 medium ice cubes or the same amount of crushed ice

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth

For the thickest all most like ice cream smoothie

the secret is to use frozen fruit

I put frozen strawberries in the blender the amount depends on how many people I am serving

then I pour in some milk I use skim but you can use whatever you want to make it the thickest I only add a little at a time and in between I use a rubber spatula to stir I only add enough that it just starts to tunnel when on

You can add unsweetened plain yogurt and honey

once made I eat some right away and I have a bunch of
1/2 c size containers I fill them up and freeze some it is like ice milk

For Sorbet
I again use frozen berries I prefer a mix of blueberries black berries and raspberries

I put them in the blender and I add just enough fruit juice to make it tunnel and I freeze in serving size containers
This is great for kids it taste sweet but it is good for them

The juice I use is one without sugar / sweeteners/ or fruitous-glucose Just plain juice some of the major supermarkets carry them

You can use any fruit you want and any juice you want you can add a scoop of protein powder to make a meal replacement

My 12 year old son likes experimenting with smoothies, i thought OK it's healthy until he made one with half a pint of milk a mars bar and a hand full of cherries, LOL i spose he was half way there.
