Can someone recommend a good espresso machine?!

Question:

Can someone recommend a good espresso machine?

I want a machine that makes great espresso, possibly a nice-looking machine, and money isn't really an issue although I don't want a *top top of the line* machine, so possibly not more than $1000.

Answers:
I like Nespresso

KRUPS IS A REALLY GOOD BRAND WHEN IT COMES TO EXPRESSO MACHINES AND I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT BECAUSE I WORK IN THE HOME STORE AST MACYS

It depends on what exactly you want out of it. A good espresso machine is a little vague on the description... I would recommend something from DeLonghi when it comes to the automated side of the espresso business. They test each and every one of their espresso machines before they go in the box and are shipped out of the warehouse. Starbucks and Macy's sell the Magnifica, a great machine that will make great lattes, cappuccinos, and coffee. The Starbucks edition features some more features such as timers, descalers, a free pound of coffee with purchase. Not to mention the knowledge from employees, lifetime guarantee and their excellent return policy. Macy's is right up there as well. But don't expect just as much goodies with theirs, but you get to knock a few hundred dollars off in the process. However, if you are looking for some authentic hand-tamped espresso machines I would recommend the Starbucks Barista or Asaco Orange. I have both machines and their powerhouses. Had them both for three years and they run and pur like no other. Shots are able to be customized, unlike the Magnifica, and foam can be intense. Machines both carry wonderful warranties, great attention to detail, and deliver great results.
