Has there ever been Chocolate Coke?!

Question:

Has there ever been Chocolate Coke?

And will Coke steal my idea if they haven't done this before?

Answers:
There has not been Chocolate flavored Coke made by the Coca-Cola Company. A friend of mine from Hawaii once told me that she used to drink Coke with chocolate syrup in Honolulu. It was very popular as early as 15 years ago.

Will Coke come out with a Chocolate version? That depends on the research on consumer preferences and beverage trends.

To date, Coca-Cola has produced the following flavors:
Cherry
Vanilla
Black Cherry Vanilla (US)
Lime
Lemon
Citra (Japan, Mexico, New Zealand)
Citrus (Zest on Coca-Cola Light, UK)
Sango (Blood Orange on Coca-Cola Light - Belgium only)
Raspberry (discontinued - test marketed New Zealand)
Coffee (Blak: France, USA, Canada)

In 1952

Theres no such thing, but you know the big companies, they steal ideas from here and there.

I'm not sure if the company has ever sold a bottled or canned version of it but you can order it in 1950's style diners and soda shops.

Well, if you don't want your idea stolen, you should not post on one of the world's largest websites :).

THE CHOCOLATE COKE?

I grew up believing everyone knew what a Chocolate Coke? was, but I was apparently wrong. I have mentioned Chocolate Coke?s in mixed company and have found that I’m teaching people something brand new.

There are a number of ways to make a Chocolate Coke?, but there is only one way to make the TRUE Chocolate Coke?.

Pour about three to five tablespoons of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup in a glass. Pour in ice cold Coke?. It is best when the Coke? comes from a soda fountain, but as that is not always easy to come across, especially in the average kitchen, canned or bottled Coke? will do, as long as it is cold.

Do not use ice. If the Coke? is not very cold, it will not be perfect. Stir the Coke? and chocolate syrup like crazy. Put in a straw and drink. The amount of chocolate can vary. Some people like their Chocolate Coke?s more chocolately than others do. A straw is necessary, but burping is optional.

As an aside, there are those who think you can substitute Diet Coke? in this drink and get the same results, but a true gourmand would never allow this. A true gourmand will use only Coke? and no substitutes.

I have been surprised that this isn’t one of the new flavors the Coca Cola? Company has released. But one never knows…

It's not that original of an idea. There have been chocolate cola's before. Not sure if Coke put it out there...they are probably too smart to market that stuff. Regardless...if you are afraid of someone stealing your not very original idea, why would you post it on the internet?? Duh.

I don't think there has been...But I would NOT be suprised if they came out with something like that soon.

no there hasen't

Yes it has been done already.

there is already chocolate pop, very bad. anyway people do it all the time its really not good. a lot of people also like grape flavor and pop.

back in the 1950's at the ice cream shops you could ask the soda jerk to add any flavor to you coke. so yes there was a chocolate coke even though i wouldnt try it. but coke never bottled it up sold it to stores. write a letter to coke and ask if they can send you a free chocolate coke taste thing and if you like it encourage them to bottle it sand sell it
