Is it safe to have coffee followed by alcohol like an hour later?

As safe as it is to have alcohol at any time. At least with the coffee you will be an alert drunk.

yes it is....u can also have alcohol and coffee at the same time.....1 oz rye whiskey or vodka....black coffee....2 tsp sugar...mix ...and u have a coffee royal...enjoy!!

its not gonna do much but dehydrate you ever more...both alcohol and caffeine are diuretics...which means you'll only feel more like crap....i suggest drinking water or sports drink instead.
It is not unsafe. Alcohol is unsafe for some people even in small amounts, but for most i is OK under the right circumstances
probably not one is a depressant and one is an stimulent. thats not a good combo
