Some do. For the most, part they seem to drink the very sweet fruit type drinks. Strawberry, orange, cherry. Also, you can buy a gallon of orange drink cheap, sodas are expensive. Sort of a cultural thing.
I think for the same reason young boys seem to drink grape, very sweet.
