Why do we burp and hiccupp?!

Question:

Why do we burp and hiccupp?

Answers:
Hiccups are spasm of your diaphragm. So water won't help, instead, you should take deep breaths. Burps are caused by a build up of gasses that need to be released to finish the digesting process in the stomach. these gasses are created by acids seperating the foods.

gas

I guess it's trapped gases in the body that need to get out. Now hiccups are caused by something else... something to do with the lungs...

say for instance that you eat very fasy...usually you would take down alot of air with your food...

that would cause you to burb or hiccup

Air gets trapped or something like that. Thats why soda, or anything carbonated, makes us burp. Cause air gets got in your throught and trys to get out. I think hiccuping is something different. Search on http://wikipedia.org

Burping is also known as belching, eructing, gargling, burgling and belching. Burping releases inflammable toxic chemicals in the air. It contains sulphur tetrachloride and potassium cyanide, a deadly mixture which makes the flowers in your vase wilt.

Hiccups can only be cured by the following

1. Holding your breath for 48 hours
2. Exorcism
3. Drinking 3 bottles of Vodka with your eyes closed

Why we do it is something Einstien could not answer!

You burp and hiccup because there is built up gas inside your body and which needs to get out.
