Does the reaction that happens with diet coke and mentos happen with diet cherry pepsi or diet pepsi lime??

I just watched a video experiment and they did the diet coke/mentos thing, then they did it with diet tonic water. It bubble over a lot, just no the explosion as with the coke. So I would think it would work with other diet sodas...
