Can I pour coffee grounds down my drain?!

Question:

Can I pour coffee grounds down my drain?

Answers:
Probably not a good idea.

But they can be well used in your garden by putting them around your plants, or in your compost heap.

No but you can recycleing them into your garden or potted planets for soil

There's a lot of debate about how good of an idea it is, since they can clump and get stuck in the u-bend or in the sewer pipes. It seems if you mix them with enough water, and especially if you have a garbage disposal to break up clumps, then it's okay.

Not unless you have a garbage disposal and run a lot of hot water. We don't have a disposal and my husband keeps dumping them in the sink. Argh! I'm sure I'll have to call a plumber someday...

you can if you want to clog your drains....i do all the time but i have a garbage disposal attacked to my sink

Throw them out into your garden. Great for your plants.
