What should I do?

I went grocery shopping last night with my son. He is 5 years old and asked me for a bottle of juice. I paid no attention to the bottle when we were at the store. Once we got home he asked me for a cup of juice. When I went to open it I saw a fly inside floating. I didnt even open it completely because it freaked me out.

What should I do? Do I call the company and tell them? Or just take it back to the store? My brother-in-law tells me I should sue. That seems like a hassle to me....

call to the company or write them a complaint letter or something like so they notice about that, that way you′ll prevent the same situation to happen to someone else

Unless you really want to go to court, just return it to the store. Neither you nor your son drank any, you were not hurt in anyway. I'd call the company first see what they say. They might want info off the bottle.

That's the problem with America today, too many people suing for silly stuff. Just take it back to the store and lodge a complaint, also lodge a complaint with the manufacturer and they will give you a coupon for at least another free bottle of juice. these things happen every now and then with high speed bottling equipment. Its time to sue them

just call the co. suing is crazy, the whole world is sue crazy.

Return it to the store and ask for a refund or replacement.

Contact the customer service number on the bottle and report the incident.

Since no one's hurt or injured, no need for unnecessary litigation.

Just take it back to the store and show them the fly floating in the product and tell your story. They will probably promptly issue you a refund, an apology, and maybe throw in some extras.

It is really a non-issue since there was only emotional harm done. Sorry.

call the company and explain your problem, and see what they do, most companies are about customer service and dont like seeing their customers dissatisfied. just be sure that when you call the company, ask nicely to speak to a supervisor or manager and be sure to get their name and id number/EXT. number, so that you can use that as a reference. if calling the company doesnt work then go to the store and see what happens. the main reason for calling the company is to notify them that their product is not up to snuff.
