Is coffee/caffeine a drug?

I was reading questions about Starbucks and a girl said that coffee is a drug is that truth?

yes, caffeine is a drug.......it's a stimulate. It's used obviously in the foods/drinks, like coffee, but also for pharmacologic preparations such as Excedrin and anesthetics such as lidocaine.

well im not sure if it is classified as a DRUG, but.. it is highly addictive and too much CAN damage your health. I depends on how much your intake is..

Yes,It is .And I'll be the first to say I'm a Caffeine junkie.I almost go into a kind of withdraws without it.I get up in the morning drink a pot of fresh ground super strong coffee
then grab a quadshot of esspreso with cream for my drive to work followed by two more before noon.then at least 2 /16 oz .iced white chocolate mochas with 6 shots of esspreso in each in the afternoon.my cafeine habit got so expensive i bought my own esspreso machine.
In case you were wondering ,I don't sleep well either.I don't think cafeine is very bad for you .If it were ,I'd be dead.
