Who else boycotts Starbucks for discontinuing favorite items?
Ok I have to rant! I HATE STARBUCKS!!! After 20 years of being a loyal customer, they have finally lost me and all of my family members as customers. I guess our daily habit of buying a combined 30 over priced drinks for me and my family members doesn't matter to them. I can't drink coffee anymore so I switched over the the Tazo Iced Passion tea with Valencia syrup. That was by far one of the best drinks ever, and they have gone and discontinued Valencia because of problems with their supplier. Ok..... business 101... If your customers buy it, you don't discontinue it, you force your supplier to get their bs straight.
So I ask, anyone else hate Starbucks for doing something similar to you and they just don't care that they did it?

I have always refused to support Fourbucks.
I don't drink coffee but I loved their coconut frappucchino.They discontinued it a couple of years ago and I haven't been back since.

I also HATE Starbucks but for a different reason! Your reason is good too! My reason is a reason close to my heart though. Starbucks was asked to donate some coffee to send to our troops! Here was the answer they gave...NO! We do not support the war or the people over there! How sad right! Put that in your nasty gram because that is awful. Up north we picoted the Starbucks! I have only been to starbucks and few time and their coffee is disgusting! I prefer coffee bean and tea leaf far over starbucks. They also charge an outrageous amount for a cup of coffee. I can buy better tasting coffee and make it at home if I wanted to.
Oh ya my bf told me about starbucks not supporting our troops because of the war. That is bs. The company sucks anyways. I wish people would realize how bad of a company it is for being overpriced and nto supporting our troops.

I can understand why you might be disappointed that you can no longer get the item you specifically like, but on balance, don't you think you may be over-reacting just a touch?
It's a fact of life that things change. Tastes change. It isn't their fault you can't or don't enjoy other things that they offer. I'm pretty sure if you asked all those other members of your family, they'd say they too are sorry you can't get what you want - HOWEVER, how does that translate that you become their dictator and decide they too have to go without what THEY enjoy?
I absolutely have no wish to send Starbucks the nasty gram as they haven't done anything to deserve it. I'd say your family deserves a chance to have what they like instead of being deprived because of your issues.
Things change. Move on. Find something really worthy to be upset about; child-abuse, poverty in the richest countries of the world or slavery in undeveloped countries.
The would never discontinue the basic latte, whch is what I usually get.
Here's an idea:stop depending on the fancy stuff that goes out of season, and buy something they will always have. It bound to be cheaper, too.

Drinks go away b/c it's simply too hard to keep that many syrups in our stores. And valencia wasn't all that popular.
I have never had any coffee from starbucks and never will.
There are much better places to buy a cup of coffee at the
same price than starbucks.
