Could you tell if you were served tea or coffee made with twice boiled water?!

Question:

Could you tell if you were served tea or coffee made with twice boiled water?

Answers:
It will have a some difference to a trained person that deals with coffee and tea.
Water boiled twice would loose its 'life',
It is a general rule that in making coffee and tea, Fresh water is always asked for, boiling it once before use...

No !
How ?

maybe

Probably not.

I think only a professional tea taster would be able to tell.

I can't, but I do that so often.

it depends where the water came from..if it was boiled tap or boild spring water. Boiling the water twice wouldn't make much difference from boiling it once. Because the first time you boil it, you are getting rid of bacteria and other organic contaminants. The second time you boil it, you still retain the minerals and are just heating the water. I think there wouldn't be much difference in taste making tea or coffee with twice boiled water or 100x boiled water.

no? how?

I love coffee but I am unsure if I could tell the difference.
was the water boiled twice for a reason?
be glad that the coffee was not boiled twice or you would have a extra strong cup of coffee.
