i was drinking my rock star this morning and noticed on the bottom of the can in tiny letters it say dietary supplement, does that men this energy drink helps you loose wieght?

.... no but it is an energy supplement. you can recieve a dietary supplement in more ways than just a weight loss item. it gives you evergy and for your diet you get energy. If you drink a rockstart thats the form that you take it. its not a weight loss drink.... but what you chose to do with the energy is what will change your weight.

The reason why it says dietary supplement is because it's classified as a "dietary supplement". That's actually really important because anything with that designation doesn't have to pass stringent FDA tests and standards. The word dietary here is used to refer to food consumed rather then losing weight.
