Looking for the best store-bought coffee. What's your favorite?!

Question:

Looking for the best store-bought coffee. What's your favorite?

Answers:
If you mean store-bought, already made and ready to drink, then I'd have to go with Wawa.

If you mean store-bought, take it home and brew it, then I'd say the 8 O'Clock 100% Columbian. I have always liked this one. It used to be only available at the A&P and stores owned by A&P (like SuperFresh), but you can buy it in alot of places now. Consumer reports rated it as the best coffee money could buy. When they factored in taste for $ value, nothing else even came close, it was litterally off the charts. Even without factoring in cost, nothing else really came very close.

I don't drink coffee but something in that Nabob commerical last night tells me it's the best...

Maybe it was a subliminol message.. I still can't wrap my head around it!

i like the stations where you ground your own coffee at the grocery store also folgers have diff flavors now and thier pretty good and there is also star bucks coffee being sold at the grocery store its good too

Here in the South, the best one is Community Coffee. It's made in Baton Rouge, La. by the fifth-generation of the family which owns the company. They make three really good flavors: French Roast, Dark Roast and New Orleans Blend (coffee and chicory).

My favorite of the three - the New Orleans blend. After you fill your cup halfway with this coffee, top it off with milk - you will think you're in the French Quarter again.

Don't know if Community Coffee is available outside the South but it is worth a try. They also provide mail-order service on their website.

Folger's Dark Roast. Hands down.

I think by store-bought you mean a national brand? Few of us grow our own...

For instant, I demand Taster's Choice Gourmet Roast.

For pre-ground, the only one that seemed distinctive to me (of ones I've tried) is Chock Full o' Nuts.

The very best, according to consumer blind taste-test is Chock Full-O-Nuts, a New York based coffee that is available at least out to Kansas City. I drink it all the time.
Great flavor
