What is the difference in organic milk and regular nonorganic milk?!

Question:

What is the difference in organic milk and regular nonorganic milk?

My friend told me a disgusting story about cow's milk, and from that story, she only drinks organic milk. But doesn't all milk come from a cow, organic or not? On that, doesn't it all go through sterilization process anyway?
Please help...

Answers:
Milk that is labeled “USDA Organic” must come from cows that have not been treated with bovine growth hormone (BGH) to increase milk production. People who focus on this goal express concern that hormones in milk could raise the risk of hormone-related cancers, or lead to higher levels of an insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) linked with cancer.

The cows are fed organic food, they are also not given antibiotics or hormones.

a lot of the dairy cows in the world today are given LDH- livestock development hormone which makes the cows mature much faster and produce milk earlier in life than a normal cow would. Organic dairy products come from cows that do not recieve LDH or any other hormones or antibiotics

What?!?!?! organic milk, um yeah that is sooo a marketing ploy so that people who live in the city and have no idea will pay more for the same milk in a different carton. Unless its soy milk, but you seem to be talking about cows milk in both cases (organic vs regular).

I believe that organic also has more nutrients then regular milk since regualr milk contains some ingredients that you have never heard of. I prefer organic over regular milk since it has a smoother, velvety taste to it over regular milk. Also check the calorie content too as it is lower then regular milk.
