Root Beer is OK, especially the smaller brands in glass bottles, but Dr. Pepper is an institution.... nothing compares.
I don't like either, but my kids LOVE Dr. Pepper! In some parts of the country (not here on the West Coast), my kids like to drink Mr. Pibb, too.
I think it depends on your mood and personal taste. For my nephew it's Dr. Pepper, but for me Rootbeer w/ vanilla bean ice cream :-) Mmmmm...
I'm not crazy about either one...but given the choice I would pick Dr. Pepper.

I love dr peppy too because it has more caffeine, cherry flavor and its altogether better tasting.
Well, Dr. Pepper is number 2 on my top 3 favorite sodas and Root Beer is Number 3 and Coke is Number 1. If I had to choose Between Dr. Pepper and Root Beer, I would go with Dr. Pepper, Cuz I'm down with the Dr.Pepizzle! WHOOP WHOOP!

Dr. Pepper has an interesting flavor, but Root Beer is original. I prefer Dr. Pepper better. I think it's more natural, too!
