Do Americans use the term "double double" for coffee?
Here in Canada we call a coffee with two sugars and two creams a "double double." I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the slang was only used here, and not in the states, but I need to need to know for sure. Thanks!

Hah, I love that question. I say it, and most likely always will. I was born here in Pa. USA, lived up in Oh Canada for 27yrs (loved it by the way), now I am back home...I say eh? too. But I get questioned every single time I say it. I have to explain what I mean each and every time.

Also it refers to an individual performance in a game in which a player accumulates a double digit number total in any two of these categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots.

no, that is not a term we use in the US. we usually just say "cream & sugar" or 2 sugars, & cream. i've never heard double-double before, but maybe we should! that sounds alot easier than saying it the long way!
