How does a tea maid work?!

Question:

How does a tea maid work?

im thinking of buying one but i dont know how it works. Like do u ust put some tea and water in it and it brews u a tea and what about milk.

Answers:
It works rather like a coffee percolator.

You put a measured amount of water into the tank. Switch it on or use a timer. When the water is boiling it is passed under pressure through a nozzle into a receptacle - the tea cup that already contains the tea leaves or a bag. You add milk and sugar as necessary.

With the timer variety is is usually set to sound an alarm when the water boils so you wake up to a nice cuppa though you could of course use it at any time.

Another possibility is to buy a mug from Whittards that includes a filter device.

If you do buy one let me know and I'll bring round the biscuits.

THE 'TEAS-MAID'
is basically a kettle with a built-in timer
before you go to bed you put milk&sugar in a cup
water in teasmaid and set time. when the alarm goes off you have a hot cup of tea to wake up to.
not a bad thing but a lot of fussing about
