Lemon water-how much is enough???!

Lemon water-how much is enough???

recently started drinking a bottle of water mixed with one lemon juice every morning. jus wondering if its healthy to do so? my mon advised against it, saying 2 tablespoon of lemon juice mixed with water is enough-and not more than that.


Answers:
Although lemon water is good for digestive matters, as a natural diuretic and has a refreshing feel to it, it is acidic and that has it's downsides also. Such as, too much acid will cause acid reflux, heartburn, possibly wear down the enamel of your teeth.
All of that being said, 2 Tbls is the equivalent of 1 lemon. That is usually all that is recommended that one should take. So I guess in this case, mother knows best after all!

One to two cups of lemon water a day is fantastic. It cleanses and is great for the old metabolism.

My husband has been drinking lemon water for years. He fills up his half-gallon jug with water and puts in a fourth of a cup of lemon juice. No sugar. I don't know how he can stand it.
I don't think lemon water will hurt you.
I think know he is using the little cups of flavoring with sweetener in them to add to the water.
I guss the older he gets the more sweetener he needs.

I dont like it coz it's sour.

That's kind of like saying that you should not consume any other entire citrus fruit per day. The only difference is that a lemon is not as sweet.

Lemons have vitamin C and are really good for you. I drink lemon water like it's going out of style, and I'm...ACCCKKKK!....PFFFFTTTTHH...
