I'm not sure about how much energy they really give me, cuz I'm pretty resilient to caffeine, but I really enjoy the taste of some of them.
I only drink the diet/sugar free ones, but I've tried a few of them: Diet Rockstar: 4*'s not bad, one of my fav's
Lo-Carb Monster 5*'s My favorite!
Sugar Free Red Bull 3*'s too carbonated!
Diet Max Velocity 4*'s my 2nd favorite!
Sugar Free Sobe 3*'s Pretty good but not fantastic

I drink Cocaine Its awesome. I prefer the cut cocaine. Its 3 1/2 times a red bull
I like Tab Energy. It only has 5 calories!
Personally i like it, specially when i am tired or have to use the computer for a long period of time. Most of this energy drinks have more caffeine than regular coffee, so it keeps you awake. And it is good to take it when you dont have an appetite due to illness or exhaustion.

I drink them when I'm desperate, but the caffeine can give me a stomach ache. Water is better if you really want energy (as opposed to wanting to get a buzz).
I like ENVIGA--- it's only 5 calories.
