Which is more toxic, Coca Cola or Coffee?!

Question:

Which is more toxic, Coca Cola or Coffee?

Ok, I've been drinking Pepsi or Coca Cola as a way to get a boost of energy whenever I'm sleepy. I'm using that instead of coffee.

But, I also care for my health, so I would like to know which is better for my health, Coca Cola (Pepsi) or Coffee? They're all toxic, but which one of these will do less harm to my organism?

Thanks!

Too much of anything can hurt a person. Over-consumption of regular (non-diet) sodas can contribute to diabetes, tooth decay, obesity, and worse. Even the non-sugar varieties can pose problems since they rely heavily on artificial sweeteners, colors, and preservatives.

I prefer coffee. It has historically proved itself to be of multiple benefits. A hot cup of freshly brewed coffee can offset or lessen an asthma attack, for one. People diagnosed with ADD/ADHD often find one or two cups of coffee to have a calming effect, much like if they'd taken a mild dose of a prescription medication specifically formulated to treat hyperactivity.

Coffee is a natural diuretic, and has been known to help treat intestinal parasites in poor countries. Its introduction to the outside world is also an historically interesting tale. Most cultures have fascinating methods for its preparation, too. I can't say enough positive things about coffee, especially vs. soda.

I'm grinding and brewing- who wants a fresh cup? ;oD

Many years of gourmet coffee & tea sales (Barnie's and Coffee Beanery). Decades of enjoyment before, during, and yet to come.

they both have their bad sides but!! i would say pepsi is worse for you..just because of all the sugar!

Coca Cola. A lot of the ingredients in it are grouped for the list you see on the can, and it's not all what it seems to be. Coffee is far better for you.

the cola drinks and any sodas, because there is so much sugar in it ,coffee you put your own amount or none.

Drink more tea. It has caffeine and is healthier.

Coca Cola

vist a coke maker and you can decide for yourself. try some of the new engery drinks they are healthy.

Coffee is so bad. You could get stone in your gall-bladder from it. It also darkens the teeth. Coca Cola MAY be bad for your bones.

coke has more acid, prolly worse for you

The phosphoric acid and high sugar content of cola drinks make it more harmful for human system...... coffee on other hand contains reasonable amount of caffeine that will not harm u much and sugar for coffee is always Ur choice

Coke is more toxic, owing to the artificiality of it

I'm no doctor but i say coffee is best for you,,,,i've heard scary things about diet sodas but haven't given then up...

Well you can't clean the corrision from your car battery with coffee but you sure can with Coke!

i think coca cola is less harmfull

Soda has either sugar or artificial sweetener and zero health benefits. Coffee on the other hand contains antioxidants. Therefore, coffee would be your best bet, provided you are not adding sugar or artificial sweetener. Even if you do, it would still be healthier considering it does have some healthy ingredients. But I used to hate drinking black coffee, and just got myself used to it. Now I like it black.

Coca-Cola does not have as much caffeine as Coffee, so if you switch to coffeee, you don't have to drink as much. Also if you drink it black, then you also won't consume as many as calories or sugar as you would with Coca-Cola.

If you care about your pocketbook, Coca-Cola would be a cheaper caffeine fix than coffee. It is possible the extra energy comes from a combination of caffeine and sugar, so if you switch to coffee, you may not be as "sugar-happy" as you would with Coke.

Water is probably the best choice and plenty rest or sleep is your best combat against fatigue and sleepiness.

Finally - Coca-Cola has a fusion beverage called Coca-Cola Blak - mid-calorie drink with Coke and Coffee. It does contain aspartame so if you don't like artificial sweeteners, then forget it.
