What does water taste like?!

Question:

What does water taste like?

like if you were to describe the taste of water to someone how would you describe it.?

Answers:
It doesnt have a taste. Taste can only be described as salty, sour, sweet, bitter (and possibly savory "umami" depending on who you ask). Everything else is aroma (smell, the two combine to make flavor. So water, which has no salt (salty), no sugar(sweet), no acid(sour), and no alkali(bitter), has no taste.

Basic, but refreshing.

Like orange juice minus the orange taste...

taste like water

It doesn't really have a taste, more of a texture. Smooth and cool, but tasteless.

Depends on what kind of water it is. Distilled water has pretty much no taste. Stream water tastes kind of sweet. Mineral water tastes like the minerals dissolved in it: a bit salty, a bit rusty... Some well water has a sulfur smell which affects its taste. Alot of the "flavor" of water is its "mouth feel": cold, slippery, etc.
