From an ask column: "Moderator: What are the essential quick energy foods that one ought to keep in their office or home refrigerators?

Clow: For those occasional snack attacks, there are many easy snacks that really pack in a lot of nutrition. Some ideas for at home, in the office, or while traveling may include your favorite mix of dry cereal or nuts with raisins, dried fruits, popcorn, fresh fruit, crackers, fruit rolls, rice cakes, yogurt -- there are endless possibilities!"

Watch Crank.

EmergenC... I drink that sometimes.

Snacking throughout the day is a good way to keep your body up and moving as well as keeping your blood sugar levels up. And dont forget to drink PLENTY of water (Yawning is a sign of dehydration) it will help to keep you alert as well as focused.
Its a good idea to stay away from too many energy drinks and sodas, they will give you a shot of sugar but you will fall back in no time at all. They also dehydrate you (every caffinated drink you have you need to drink an extra glass of water)
Some good snacks to munch on during the day
Granola Bar
Apple and cheese or peanutbutter
Banana and peanut butter
Yogurt
Crackers and cheese
Dried Fruits

stay away from the candy bars!
