I drink a cup of the celestial seasonings green tea with 2 teaspoons of honey every night right before bed, i steep it only 2 minutes...give it a whirl :)

I use Twinings and drink it with a dash of lemon juice with a little sugar.

Organic green peppermint tea.

I drink the real strong stuff gunpowder green tea - this are rolled into little pearls and brewed as one does loose tea.

If you really don't enjoy the flavour (and you can make it as strong or as weak as you like, although you will not get the the same quantity of nutrients if always drinking it weak)

You can buy Green tea with Orange and Lotus Flower from Tesco Supermarket, I think it is Twinings.

Although 100% Qi Green Tea has a good flavour I think.

You will be able to buy a good selection of Green Teas from the Health Food Shop too including Twinings and Qi.

Green Tea should only be taken in the mornings and throughout the day, not in the evening or before bed as it is a stimulant, it also has caffeine although you can buy decaf but in my opinion the flavour of decaf is inferior.

Enjoy your Tea

Generally, green teas need to be brewed at a lower temperature than black tea - the water should not be boiling hot as it burns the leaves and ruins the flavour. Turn the kettle off just before it reaches boiling point, or wait a minute for the water to cool a little. Persevere, as you will get used to the taste. White tea is now available at specialist shops, and has a very mild flavour, with lots of health benefits and a high anti-oxidant level. It is minimally processed, even less than green.
Otherwise, try adding peppermint leaves, or dried peppermint to your brew.

1. whether U R using the tea bags of the drip type, or the ground leaves in a strainer, do not keep the tea leaves in the hot water too long-about more than 10 seconds.
Prepare your ground leaves on a strainer or tea bag in a cup, pour in the hot hot water, move the tea bag or the strainer up and down a little-this actually makes the tea leaves hotter and gets the extract out better, remove the leaves in about 10 seconds.
You should have a nice fresh tasting green tea. And green tea is all about fresh taste. If u keep the leaves in the hot water too long it will start to taste bitter, depending on the brand too. If you reuse the tea leaves it will taste bitter too.

2. There is this thing call Shin Cha, pronounced like that in Korean and Japanese. I don't know it in Chinese. It means newly sprouted tea leaves. They taste fresher and smoother. They are best in the spring-when the tea leaves first sprout, and immediately picked, dried, packed and sold. I don't know if you can get the farm type in the US, but u can order one. When u pick out the tea leaves at the supermarket look for the "SHIN CHA", or the new leaves or something like that. Try the Asian supermarkets. Have Fun...

Yep sure do have a suggestion. Try WHITE TEA, go to www.republicoftea.com and order some, it is awesome! and better for you.

Stassen Pure Jasmine Green Tea

Like you I prefer peppermint tea...however the only green tea that I like is the Pineapple & Grapefruit one that Twinings do.

An exotic and mouth-watering alternative, Pineapple & Grapefruit is a delicious lively blend combining a tangy pineapple flavour with the citrus zing of grapefruit. Its got the antioxidant properties of the other green teas but with a fruity flavour

If you are worried about you health you should consume what tastes nice without EXCESS fat, salt and sugar. This means small amounts are GOOD FOR YOU.

Your tongue is a chemical detector that informs you what your body needs most when it needs it the most. It can be tricked by certain addictive substances like Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) but normally it is a good device. If you eat what tastes good, then that's all you really need. That's why we have a tongue and why we have taste buds. They are chemical detectors that are informed by our brains what chemicals to look for to help the body.

Plus: mild, regular exercise when you feel like exercising is a good thing to stay healthy. Having good genes is a bonus.

try fairtrade, Tesco sell it.

DEFINATLY!

Tetley's Green Tea with a hint of Lemon..

Arhhhh i could live on it xD

Oh wait i already do..

I gave up tea and coffee and when I started drinking green tea i thought it tasted horrible but i stuck to it. Now I love the taste. I normally get Clippers organic green tea. Dont leave the tea bag in for too long because it will make it bitter and dont use boiling water.

The best green tea is those made from young tender tea shoots picked very early Spring. They are the most nutritious, contain the least pollutants and are the TASTIEST.

You can buy these loose green tea online or in Specialty store.

Personally, I drink a loose dragon well tea in the link below. It tastes sweet and nutty and is great for health.

Enjoy ...
