Why are ginger beer bottles tinted brown?!

Question:

Why are ginger beer bottles tinted brown?

Answers:
Because a dark bottle filters the light that gets to it and preserves the flavor. As do tinted medicine bottles and lots of others.

to avoid sun and light from discoloring the liquid.

So you could not see the impurities or discoloration of the content inside the bottle. The tint supposedly also blocks out sunlight which could change the content of the bottle.

It has to do with light. A clear bottle will affect the balance of the liquid, whereas brown or green doesn't.
Ordinary beer is the same.
