I live in WA, state, on the western side of the Cascades, I just always figured my water was good.
Oh, now I feel like I should test it.

yes, plus your county extension office will do it for free if you have are using water from a well.

I can't stand tap water from certain restaurants. Other restaurants their tap water is fine. I think it's the iron levels. I use a brita jug at home and it tastes perfect.
We did a few years ago when we built a new house on our property. Most mortgage companies require current water tests on a property that has its own well.
Ours is high in minerals including sulfur, but no bacteria.
