Can gatorade go bad if its been after a year of sitting in the fridge?!

Question:

Can gatorade go bad if its been after a year of sitting in the fridge?

Answers:
In general sweetened drinks should be consumed within 4 months. Most distributors will give a 60-90 day shelf life, Over time the sugar in the drink will break down, and will adversely affect the taste of the drink.
Most beers will have a shorter shelf life (at least mass produced domestics)

Used to work for a major soft drink manufacturer, when we got a new shipment to our warehouse, you could smell the sweetness through the cans.

yeah it can. do yourself a favor and throw it out. Although the only time I ever had gatorade go bad, it was obvious - it developed a wad of moldy mucousy looking floating stuff on the top. The only food that never goes bad is honey. There has been 5000 year old honey found in tombs, its still edible. Anyways, go buy some new gatorade.

Yes. It can grow mold.

Yes

yes, as sugary drinks can transform over the time.
so better throw it away and get yourself a new bottle of gatorade! ; )

take care

It depends; If it is solid frozen with no interruption for that whole year,it will not "go bad", but it may lose a lot of its flavor and sweetness. However, if the fridge is not cold enough, stops working yes, it will go bad, and much faster if left uncover and next to meat and other animal products.

the sugar can ferment.

Gatorade is so cheap I would toss it out and buy more. Why risk it
