Do energy drinks take getting used to?!

Question:

Do energy drinks take getting used to?

I've never had one and I want to try one, like a Rickstar or something. Do they make you happy & energized? Are the nasty? Does it take a while to get used to the taste if it's a weird taste? Do they make you jittery?

Answers:
Try a full throttle first since they are most like a regular pop. Most energy drinks have an acquired taste and you might not like them at first. They can give you a small buzz and make you energized for some time. They are very good!! : )

noo its tastes bad and its bad 4 u and u will get addicted

I guess but i hate them and most of tehm taste nasty. plus i hate the shaky jitery feeling you get after about four or five hours from drinking. i preffer to drink a nice cup of coffe with cinnamon. i will only drink it if im really tired and i need to drive home or something like that.

it makes you jittery. take ok...definitely gives you a kick of energy.

Just take a sip and see how that feels. Take a little more if you like it. A lot of things you never tried may take getting used to, but after that you may be hooked! (thats good right?)

Try Red Bull, it tasted kida like mt. dew, gives you energy and you don't have to get used to it.

the strength of the effects depend on your weight and how much you drink.

They don't really make you happy-- I would describe it as having butterflies in your stomach but more nervous than you might expect.

The taste of some might throw you off, so if you want one with a good taste, I would recommend Amp (by mountain dew), or Full Throttle. Rockstar has an odd taste...

Lastly, It is ok to drink these occasionally, but don't get in the habit of it. there is so much caffiene and other stuff in them that they can be dangerous if you have too much. Add the fact that you will come crashing down off of the 'high' much worse off than you started.

hope that helped.

For some reason no one can figure out, these hot-selling drinks do not match any living soul's idea of "tasty". Beats me why not. They have access to the same food science as any other food and drink company. My theory is that the makers think tasting medicinal gives their product a gravitas it would lack if it tasted like Jone's Soda FuFu Berry.

No, I don't think they would make you happy but could possibly make you jittery, it depends on the person drinking it.

It all depends on the person. Some people become really crazy and hyper while other people hardly notice a difference in how they act. Gatorade and Powerade taste about the same and they come in different flavors. Energy drinks taste good. It might take a little while to get used to the taste but after a while you probally will get used to it. Hope this helps answer your question.

If I were you I would stay away from them. While companies are trying to improve on them they still are a concern for your health. Many of them have large quantities of caffeine and sugar to give that "energized" feel. As with any other type of sugar high you will eventually hit a very hard bottom. These drinks may keep you energized for a while but they do not have long term effects and can really effect your body. Instead try to take a multivitamin for long term energy and overall wellness. It takes about a month for you to notice the difference all together but the effects are long lasting when taken daily. Give your body the REAL nutrients you need and some time and it will pay off. Try and take short cuts and you will always lose something somewhere. Good luck!

All the energy drinks I've tried give me headaches after a few sips. They all taste more or less the same. The most exotic one or should I say with an overwhelming perfume flavor is TaB energy. As far as taste goes, I like the Full Throttle Blue Demon - but it give me headaches as well :(
