How is caffiene added to soda pop?!

Question:

How is caffiene added to soda pop?

Answers:
They pour it in.

probably as a powder

Caffine is not added. It occurs naturally in cola beans.

soda pop?! are you kidding? I guess the soda jerk pumps it in at the ye olde soda shoppe! fast forward a few decades there! it isn't 1950 anymore....

caffeine is a natural ingredient in the cocoa plant...its a form of sugar...its not added, its only taken out because it already naturally occurs in the plant

Caffeine is available in its pure chemical form as a powder. You can buy pure caffeine from chemical supply companies if you want to. Just add the caffeine powder along with your other ingredients as you are making your soda, and you'll end up with caffeinated soda.

For Coca-Cola, caffeine is inherent in one of the ingredients - kola nuts. Other cola beverages, some root beer, and other sodas also contain ingredients than contain caffeine.

As a powder

Usually when coffee is decaffeinated the caffeine that is removed is collected and sold to be used in soda pop or made into pills like "No Doze", etc.
